We are headquartered in West Allis, Wisconsin and we're proud to be a thriving business in this busy city just outside Milwaukee. We've been at this location for nearly our entire existence as a business and it's been a blessing being here. We love West Allis and have plenty of memories about working in this area. As one of the largest suburbs around Milwaukee, West Allis is continuing to grow in and be a well-established community for businesses and families.

West Allis has a population around 60,000 according to the recent census and it is seeing a small growth every time. One of the biggest attractions of West Allis is the annual State Fair. The Wisconsin State Fair Park is located squarely inside West Allis and drives plenty of visitors each and every summer. It's been hosted here since 1982 and the fair grounds are used for other fun adventures throughout the year like the Halloween festival and haunted houses.
The city of West Allis is also a biker friendly location with designated areas for cyclists and enthusiasts alike. It's got a wonderful downtown area with plenty of small business shops and restaurants and even night life bars to explore. West Allis even has a Farmer's Market that's open on Saturdays from May through November. Check the local website for exact details on dates and times, but we love supporting the local Farmers Markets.
Fun fact, the city of West Allis is actually named after a factory business. EP Allis was a thriving factory located in downtown Milwaukee on the east side and in the 1800s, they were looking to expand. The company merged with a few others in the area and renamed to Allis-Chalmers. The company eventually bought a 100-acre plot of land near 76th and Greenfield and built a massive factory there. So as workers and delivery people were working between the two factories, one became known as the east and the new one became known as the "West Allis" plant among the workers. Thus, the name began to stick and this large area to the west of downtown Milwaukee became know unofficially as West allis. And then in 1906 it became officially recognized as the city of West Allis.
So as the local concrete contractor here, we recognize and get excited about the history of the city we're located in. It gives us such pride to be in a manufacturing town and we look to continue pushing the industry forward to be better.
